Thanks for stopping by! Ww don't have milk, but why not give something from our farm a try?

What Is Hemp Milk

Hemp milk is made by blending water with hemp seeds. Although it is not as popular as other plant-based beverages, it is definitely a great source of nutrients that will add to your diet. Hemp milk and other products made from hemp seeds do not cause mind-altering effects like marijuana, since all hemp-derived products must contain levels lower than 0.3% THC to have psychoactive effects. For this reason, it is totally safe for children and those who are THC intolerant. Moreover, hemp milk has an earthy, nutty flavor and a creamy consistency. For this reason, it is perfect to replace cow’s milk for any recipe, including smoothies, cereal, and coffee. It is important to note, however, that while it is made from just seeds and water, many commercial varieties contain sweeteners, salt or thickeners as well.

Hemp Milk Benefits

Besides its flavor and eco-friendly nature, hemp milk contains many essential nutrients and may provide several important health benefits, containing healthy fats, protein, and vitamins. Whether you are a hemp lover, a lactose intolerant person or allergic to tree nuts, hemp milk will work wonders. One cup of pure hemp milk (that is, with no sweeteners or thickeners added), contains around 130 calories, 4 grams of protein, 3 grams of fat, 1 gram of fiber, and 20 grams of carbohydrates. Furthermore, most of the fat in hemp milk is unsaturated, including omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, which are essential for biological functions and can only be obtained through food. Additionally, hemp milk is a great source of vitamin A, Calcium, Vitamin B12, Iron, and Vitamin D. For such reasons, it is healthier than your regular cow’s milk, and it contains far more protein than other plant-based beverages. These are some of the benefits of hemp milk:
  • Promotes skin health: Due to its balanced omega-6 and omega-3 content, hemp milk can improve your skin’s immune response to aging.
  • Prevents heart disease: Hemp milk is rich in arginine, an amino acid that your body needs to create nitric oxide. Nitric oxide helps relax blood vessels and maintain a healthy blood pressure.
  • Promotes healthy bone growth
