What we have here is a moderately potent sativa-dominant hybrid cannabis strain. It's made by crossing two other extremely popular strains, both of which are lemony as well. This has to be one of the most citrus-forward cannabis strains on the market at this time.
It's also a really cool strain because the high starts out very energizing and uplifting, then slowly transitions into a talkative and giggly high, and then ends up with you locked into your couch. It's neat because the high appears to go through several stages, thus providing you with a whole array of experiences and feelings.
Lemon Tag Strain Appearance
If you are going based on looks alone, the Lemon Tag strain features small and dense buds. They're pretty hard and compact, like little pebbles. They also tend to look like small spades or irregular circles. They usually aren't perfectly rounded or spherical.
As for the color, it’s usually pretty minty or light green, with a few darker accents. You'll also see a whole lot of thin orange hairs or pistils, along with a combination of golden and amber crystals along the exterior. It's quite a beautiful-looking bud. As mentioned before, the Lemon Tag strain is made by crossing two other very popular lemon strains, and yes, it is a hybrid. To be exact, it is a Sativa-dominant hybrid. Let's take a closer look at where it comes from.
Lineage
One of the parent strains is Lemon OG, also referred to as Lemon OG Kush. This is a slightly indica-dominant hybrid, a cross between OG#18 and Las Vegas Lemon Skunk. The other parent strain of Lemon Tag is Lemon Skunk. This is a Sativa-dominant hybrid made by breeding two skunk phenotypes. The result is a sativa-dominant strain with moderate THC levels and a distinctly citrusy and lemony aroma.
THC/CBD Content
While the Lemon Tag strain does not contain notable levels of CBD, it does contain a little bit of CBG, usually around 1%. CBG is, of course, somewhat similar to CBD and has many of the same benefits. However, this strain does feature between 19% and 21% THC, with around 20% being fairly average.
As you can see, it is moderate in potency. It's definitely not the strongest strain out there, but also far from being the weakest. Just a couple of tokes should be enough for beginners to feel it, and just a couple more tokes should be enough for seasoned connoisseurs. First, the high from this strain hits you nearly right away, right from the first hit. It starts off with a very energizing, creative, and focused high. It's a real cerebral lift. You'll also feel really concentrated and motivated. This should last for anywhere between half an hour and a full hour.
Most people then report the high turning into more of an unfocused, giggly, talkative, and social height. You'll probably want to watch some comedy shows and laugh for about an hour straight. At this point, your head should feel like it's up in the clouds. This feeling then often gives way to a more mellow, calm, and relaxed body high. You'll probably start feeling a little heavy and tingly and experience a slight body high.
At this point, you should feel very relaxed, even like you are sinking into the couch. Although this strain might not make you feel sedated per se, it can definitely make you feel relaxed enough to take a good nap.
Lemon Tag Strain: Reported Flavors
There are some interesting flavors present here. First and foremost, as the name implies, you're going to taste lemon, with some people also saying that they taste orange. Either way, it has a very citrusy flavor accented by a sweet fruitiness.

Lemon Tag Strain Growing Info
The Lemon Tag strain can be grown both indoors and outdoors. It's not the most difficult strain in the world to grow, but it does need to be cared for properly, which means providing it with relatively constant humidity, temperature, and water. It should grow to around 60 inches, if not taller. If you take care of it properly, it should produce around 400 grams of bud per square meter, which is nothing short of impressive.
